Biocides for Animal Health & Nutrition

Product description, Anticel Peracetic Acid 15% industrial disinfectant At Quimiconsult we produce Anticel Peracetic Acid 15%, a broad-spectrum biocide formulated with a minimum concentration of 15% peracetic acid, designed for professional disinfection applications in the food, livestock, agro-industrial, pharmaceutical and water treatment industries. This direct food-contact sanitizer acts instantly on contact with the protective cell structures of microorganisms, such as the cell wall and cell membrane, while also deactivating basic cellular metabolic functions involved in protein synthesis, resulting in the fast and effective elimination of the microbial load present on surfaces, equipment and process water. Anticel Peracetic Acid 15% performs excellently against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, fungi, yeasts, viruses and resistant structures such as endospores and mold spores. Its mechanism of action is based on oxidizing the outer cell membrane through electron transfer…

Description of Iodine Pearls USP At Quimiconsult we offer USP grade IODINE PEARLS, a high-purity biocide composed of solid elemental iodine supplied in the form of pearls with a minimum iodine assay of 99.5%. This material is mainly used as a raw material and chemical intermediate in the formulation of iodophor products, industrial disinfection solutions and other systems that require a reliable source of active iodine. The pearl form allows safer handling and more controlled dosing than fine powders, while its low impurity level contributes to consistent performance in industrial and formulation processes. Iodine pearls USP stand out for their high active iodine content and relatively low volatility, which allows a stable, predictable antimicrobial effect when incorporated into suitable matrices (for example, iodophors). These characteristics, together with a maximum non-volatile residue of 0.01%, make the product suitable for industrial, pharmaceutical, veterinary and food industry …

Dioxel® 10% description — High-Performance Odorless Chlorinated Biocide   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Dioxel® 10%, a high-performance chlorinated biocide —a broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide— formulated for disinfection in the food industry and water treatment, with the feature that sets the Dioxel® 10% line apart: it is odorless at proper use doses. Dioxel® 10% is the most concentrated version of the line, with an active content of 9.75 to 10.25% (available chlorine), roughly double that of Dioxel® 5%. It is a translucent, slightly amber, low-foam liquid that is highly soluble in water and stable. Its formula is wetting and penetrating, so it ensures disinfection even on microporous surfaces, crevices and joints where microorganisms and biofilms hide beyond the reach of a simple rinse.   Being more concentrated, Dioxel® 10% delivers higher yield per liter: less product is needed to reach the same target available-chlorine concentration, which reduces the volume to handle, t…

Product description, Anticel Oxy 5% peracetic acid industrial disinfectant At Quimiconsult we produce Anticel Oxy, a 5% peracetic acid solution with a high hydrogen peroxide content (minimum 26%), formulated to deliver a dual oxidizing action that combines the biocidal efficacy of peracetic acid with the disinfecting and bleaching power of hydrogen peroxide. This formulation, unique within our Anticel line, is designed for industrial disinfection, sanitization and microbiological control applications that call for a product that is easier to handle than higher concentrations of peracetic acid, yet with a total oxidizing capacity that exceeds what its PAA concentration alone might suggest. Anticel Oxy is a broad-spectrum biocide with excellent performance against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, fungi, yeasts, viruses and resistant structures such as endospores and mold spores. Its action is instantaneous on contact with the protective cell structures of microorganisms, includ…

Product description: Anticel Peracetic Acid 10%, industrial disinfectant At Quimiconsult we manufacture Anticel Peracetic Acid 10%, a broad-spectrum biocide formulated with a minimum peracetic acid concentration of 10%, designed for professional disinfection applications in the food, livestock, agro-industrial, pharmaceutical and water treatment industries. As the direct manufacturer of this sanitizer, we have full control of the production process, from raw material selection to final packaging, ensuring consistency in every lot delivered. Anticel Peracetic Acid 10% acts instantly on contact with the protective cell structures of microorganisms, simultaneously attacking the cell wall and the cell membrane and deactivating basic cellular metabolic functions involved in protein synthesis. Its performance is proven against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, fungi, yeasts, viruses and resistant structures such as bacterial endospores and mold spores. Its mechanism of action is bas…

Product description, Anticel Peracetic Acid 20% high-concentration industrial disinfectant At Quimiconsult we produce Anticel Peracetic Acid 20%, our highest-concentration peracetic acid formulation, designed for large-scale industrial operations that require maximum yield per kilogram of product and superior biocidal capacity. With a minimum concentration of 20% peracetic acid, this direct food contact sanitizer offers the highest dosing efficiency in our Anticel line, allowing a significantly larger volume of use solution to be prepared from each unit purchased compared with lower-concentration formulations. Anticel Peracetic Acid 20% is a broad-spectrum biocide that acts instantly on contact with the protective cellular structures of microorganisms, including the cell wall and cell membrane, while also deactivating basic cellular metabolic functions involved in protein synthesis. It performs excellently against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, fungi, yeasts, viruses and re…

Biocide-grade chlorhexidine gluconate product description The 20% USP grade chlorhexidine gluconate offered by Quimiconsult is a broad-spectrum cationic antimicrobial from the biguanide family, formulated as a slightly yellow, nearly colorless liquid and designed for high-performance antiseptic and disinfectant applications. Its mechanism of action is based on destabilizing the outer bacterial membrane and precipitating cellular proteins, which allows it to effectively eliminate gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, fungi and certain viruses, providing fast, persistent action on skin, mucous membranes and surfaces. Thanks to its high water solubility and miscibility with glacial acetic acid, acetone and alcohol, this active ingredient integrates easily into pharmaceutical formulations, topical antiseptics, dental solutions, surgical soaps and hospital-grade disinfectants, remaining stable in solution and enabling the development of systems with a long-lasting residual effect. Its …

Benzalkonium chloride: Product description At Quimiconsult we offer Benzalkonium Chloride 80 %, an industrial disinfectant and biocidal agent belonging to the quaternary ammonium salt family, widely used in professional sanitization and microbiological control processes. It comes as a colorless to slightly yellow liquid with a minimum active content of 80 %, designed for concentrated formulations that require high efficacy, chemical stability and easy dosing. Benzalkonium chloride is a non-volatile biocide, effective against a broad range of bacteria, fungi, algae and enveloped viruses. It acts mainly by interacting with the cell membranes of microorganisms, which inactivates them. For this reason, it is used as an active ingredient in industrial, institutional and livestock disinfectants, as well as in sanitizing solutions for surfaces, equipment and process areas. For those asking what benzalkonium chloride is used for, or looking for a reliable benzalkonium chloride disinfectant, o…
