CIP & COP Cleaning for Metalworking

Saniflow Base Description — Acid Concentrate for CIP Sanitizer (Dual-Function Formulation Base)   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Saniflow Base, an acid concentrate for producing dual-function CIP (Clean in Place) sanitizers. It is a formulation product (raw material), not a ready-to-use sanitizer: it is designed for manufacturers of industrial cleaning products —and for plants that formulate their own solutions on site— to make their CIP acid sanitizer by combining Saniflow Base with nitric acid and/or sulfuric acid. Its proprietary blend of fatty acids and low-foam surfactants provides the biocidal and descaling fraction of the finished product: in the recirculation phase, it removes scale and eliminates 100% of the remaining microorganisms, with biocidal action in seconds that penetrates even microcracks and coupling parts.   Saniflow Base is a colorless liquid with a minimum acidity of 25%, a pH of 1.50 to 3.50 (in a 1% solution) and a density of 0.95 to 1.50, with a low-foam profi…

Saniflow Description — Dual-Function CIP Sanitizer: Descaling Action and Biocidal Action   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Saniflow, a dual-function CIP (Clean in Place) sanitizer based on perpropionic acid that combines the acid detergent phase and the disinfection phase in a single product and a single recirculation. In the acid phase, its unique blend of fatty acids and low-foam surfactants removes scale (descaling action) and, at the same time, eliminates 100% of the remaining microorganisms (biocidal action). Its short-chain surfactants enable biocidal action within seconds and a descaling action that reaches even microcracks and fittings. With a minimum total acidity of 30%, a pH of 1.50 to 3.50 (in a 1% solution) and a low-foam profile, Saniflow is designed for CIP cleaning and disinfection in the food, dairy and beverage industries.   Saniflow optimizes the CIP program: it does the job of an acid detergent and a disinfectant with a single product. Instead of running an acid det…

Description of NMP N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone 99.8% — Industrial-Grade Polar Aprotic Solvent in Mexico   At Quimiconsult we distribute NMP N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone 99.8%, also known as 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone or N-methylpyrrolidone (CAS 872-50-4), an industrial-grade polar aprotic solvent with a minimum purity of 99.8%, colorless, with a high boiling point, low volatility and low viscosity. It is miscible with water in all proportions and offers high chemical and thermal stability, which makes it one of the reference solvents for dissolving engineering polymers and resins in coatings, varnishes, wire enamels and adhesives, as well as for paint stripping, industrial cleaning and as a solvent for agrochemicals and pigments in Mexican industry.   NMP belongs to the lactam family: it is a five-membered cyclic amide with a methyl group on the nitrogen. That structure gives it a highly polar molecule, but with no acidic hydrogens available to donate hydrogen bonds; that is why it is classed as a p…
