Disinfection & Sanitization for Paints & Coatings

Sanidet Description — Ready-to-Use 10% Quaternary Sanitizing Solution for Industrial Use At Quimiconsult we offer Sanidet, a broad-spectrum cationic biocide formulated as a sanitizing solution with 10% fifth-generation quaternary actives, designed specifically for direct application in food processing plants and production, packaging, storage and transport areas in the meat, dairy, bakery, beverage and general food processing industries. It is a clear, colorless, water-white liquid, completely soluble in water, with a neutral to slightly alkaline pH (6.0–8.5 in a 1% solution), medium foam that makes it easy to see the treated area and allows controlled rinsing, and a quaternary active content of 10% balanced as a synergistic blend of four fifth-generation twin-chain quaternary salts. Unlike industrial quaternary concentrates such as Sanidet Crea 5ª Generación 80%, which require precise dosing by the formulator, Sanidet comes already formulated at 10% as a working solution ready to dil…

Dioxel® 10% description — High-Performance Odorless Chlorinated Biocide   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Dioxel® 10%, a high-performance chlorinated biocide —a broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide— formulated for disinfection in the food industry and water treatment, with the feature that sets the Dioxel® 10% line apart: it is odorless at proper use doses. Dioxel® 10% is the most concentrated version of the line, with an active content of 9.75 to 10.25% (available chlorine), roughly double that of Dioxel® 5%. It is a translucent, slightly amber, low-foam liquid that is highly soluble in water and stable. Its formula is wetting and penetrating, so it ensures disinfection even on microporous surfaces, crevices and joints where microorganisms and biofilms hide beyond the reach of a simple rinse.   Being more concentrated, Dioxel® 10% delivers higher yield per liter: less product is needed to reach the same target available-chlorine concentration, which reduces the volume to handle, t…

Benzalkonium chloride: Product description At Quimiconsult we offer Benzalkonium Chloride 80 %, an industrial disinfectant and biocidal agent belonging to the quaternary ammonium salt family, widely used in professional sanitization and microbiological control processes. It comes as a colorless to slightly yellow liquid with a minimum active content of 80 %, designed for concentrated formulations that require high efficacy, chemical stability and easy dosing. Benzalkonium chloride is a non-volatile biocide, effective against a broad range of bacteria, fungi, algae and enveloped viruses. It acts mainly by interacting with the cell membranes of microorganisms, which inactivates them. For this reason, it is used as an active ingredient in industrial, institutional and livestock disinfectants, as well as in sanitizing solutions for surfaces, equipment and process areas. For those asking what benzalkonium chloride is used for, or looking for a reliable benzalkonium chloride disinfectant, o…

Product Description: Benzalkonium Chloride 50%, Broad-Spectrum Quaternary Disinfectant At Quimiconsult we offer Benzalkonium Chloride 50%, a high-concentration quaternary ammonium compound widely recognized worldwide as one of the most versatile, effective and safe disinfectants and antiseptics on the market. It comes as a clear, colorless to slightly yellowish liquid, water-soluble, highly foaming and with a neutral to slightly alkaline pH (6.5 – 8.0 in 1% aqueous solution), with a minimum active ingredient content of 50% and a maximum free amine content of 2.0%, parameters that guarantee both the microbicidal potency and the chemical purity of the product. Its CAS number is 63449-41-2, and it is identified internationally under names such as benzalkonium chloride, BAK, BKC, alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride, ADBAC or simply quaternary ammonium. Chemically, benzalkonium chloride is a mixture of alkylbenzyldimethylammonium chlorides with alkyl chains of varying length (typically C1…

DXL 100 Description — High-Performance Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide Disinfectant for Surfaces and Equipment in the Food Industry   At Quimiconsult we manufacture DXL 100, a high-performance disinfectant, an alternative to conventional chlorine dioxide, for surfaces, equipment and facilities in the food industry in Mexico. DXL 100 is a stabilized chlorine dioxide solution with 10% active chlorine (active content of 9.75 to 10.25%), a broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide with wetting and penetrating action, formulated for post-cleaning disinfection in dairy plants, packing plants, fruit and vegetable processors and bottling plants.   DXL 100 is supplied as a slightly amber liquid, ready to be pre-diluted in water without releasing vapors, which makes it a practical way to bring the oxidizing action of chlorine dioxide into the plant without relying on on-site generation equipment. Its low-foam profile makes it ideal for flooding and circulation in equipment, tanks and lines, and its …
