High-purity industrial-grade polyethylene glycol for versatile formulations At Quimiconsult we offer PEG 400 (polyethylene glycol 400), industrial grade, a high-purity, translucent liquid polymer with 100 % active content, designed to integrate efficiently into formulations that require compatibility, stability, viscosity control and reliable humectant properties. Its nonionic chemical structure, hygroscopic nature and complete water solubility make it a key functional ingredient in industrial, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, textile, ceramic and technical lubrication processes. The PEG 400 available from Quimiconsult stands out for its ability to act simultaneously as a solvent, plasticizer, lubricant, dispersant and wetting agent, improving system stability, easing the incorporation of raw materials and optimizing the performance of the finished product. Its low volatility, favorable toxicological profile and compatibility with many organic and inorganic compounds make it a safe and highl…

Dioctil Sulfosuccinato de Sodio 70% Description — Anionic Wetting Agent for Agrochemical Use (Surface Tension-Reducing Blend of Anionic Surfactants)   At Quimiconsult we supply Dioctil Sulfosuccinato de Sodio 70%, an anionic wetting agent for agrochemical use formulated as a blend of anionic surfactants. It acts as a surface tension reducer and a high-performance wetting agent: it is a clear, slightly hazy liquid with exceptionally low surface tension (25.00 to 26.50 dynes/cm), excellent uniformity and flow, rapid absorption into the substrate, and proven thermal and pH stability in water-based and solvent-based systems. The core function of Dioctil Sulfosuccinato de Sodio 70% is to reduce the surface tension of agrochemical formulations and spray solutions, improving the wettability of leaf surfaces, the penetration of the active ingredient into plant tissue and the uniform coverage of the treated area. Its high surfactant activity allows low formulation doses (0.05 to 0.8% of the to…

NF 4 M description — Nonylphenol Ethoxylate with 4 Moles of Ethylene Oxide (Industrial Grade Nonionic Surfactant)   At Quimiconsult we offer NF 4 M, also known as 4-mole Nonylphenol Ethoxylate, nonylphenol with 4 ethylene oxide units, NP-4, NPE-4, nonyl phenol 4 EO or NP 4 Moles, an industrial grade nonionic surfactant made from a nonylphenol molecule with 4 ethylene oxide units. It acts as a dispersant, degreaser, detergent, emulsifier and solubilizer, and because of its low degree of ethoxylation it sits at the lipophilic end of the nonylphenol ethoxylate family, which makes it especially valuable as an emulsifier for oily systems, a synthesis intermediate, a dispersing agent in low-polarity phases and a component for adjusting the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of formulations.   It is a clear to translucent liquid, 100% active (no diluents), with CAS number 9016-45-9, concentrate pH of 6.0 to 8.0, viscosity of 240 to 260 cPs, density of 1.00 to 1.03 g/mL at 25 °C and a maxim…

TEA 85% Triethanolamine — Industrial-Grade Neutralizer and Emulsifier in Mexico   At Quimiconsult we distribute TEA 85% Triethanolamine, also known as Triethanolamine 85%, industrial-grade TEA or 2,2′,2″-nitrilotriethanol (CAS 102-71-6), an industrial organic amine that works as a neutralizer and emulsifier in the formulation of household and industrial cleaners and other chemical products. Its main application is the neutralization of dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DDBSA, also called sulfonic acid or LABSA), at a typical dosage of 0.4 to 0.5 kg of TEA 85% per kg of DDBSA, turning the acid into a water-soluble surfactant salt. Triethanolamine 85% also forms emulsifying soaps with fatty acids and is used to adjust the pH of formulations.   TEA 85% is a clear, viscous liquid, colorless to slightly yellowish, with a slight ammoniacal odor. It is produced from ammonia and ethylene oxide, is soluble in water and has a density of 1.12 to 1.13 g/mL at 20 °C. Its total triethanolamine content i…
