Colorants & Pigments for Pulp & Paper

Ditanium Description — Self-Dispersing White Colorant Based on Titanium Dioxide   Ditanium is a self-dispersing white colorant from Quimiconsult: a complex of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and organic dispersants that delivers maximum dispersion performance. It is a free-flowing white powder with a titanium dioxide content of 87.5 – 90.0% by weight, and it provides a consistent distribution of titanium dioxide particles for uniform white coloration.   Unlike conventional titanium dioxide, which tends to agglomerate and usually requires pre-dispersion or intensive milling, Ditanium carries its own dispersants in a balanced formulation that makes optimal dispersion easier during the process. The result is excellent optical properties — whiteness and opacity — and better consistency, cohesion and texture in the final product. Its heat resistance allows normal use in processes involving temperature.   At Quimiconsult we stock Ditanium in Monterrey, Nuevo León, with shipping throughout Mexico, a…

Product description: Titanium Dioxide R-900 At Quimiconsult we distribute Titanium Dioxide R-900, a white pigment of food grade rutile titanium dioxide, produced by the sulfate process, for general use as a high-performance pigment in a wide range of applications: food products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, paints and coatings, plastics, inks, construction materials, adhesives and roofing shingle manufacturing. Titanium Dioxide R-900 stands out for its excellent hiding power, opacity, gloss and ease of dispersion, making it the benchmark white pigment for anyone seeking stable, predictable whiteness, opacity and color performance. We handle it from our SQF (Safe Quality Food) certified facilities in Monterrey, Nuevo León, with complete regulatory documentation, stock availability and direct technical support, shipping throughout Mexico. Titanium dioxide (TiO₂, CAS 13463-67-7, color index CI 77891, food additive E171) is the most widely used white pigment in the world thanks to its extr…

Rutile Titanium Dioxide Description At Quimiconsult we offer TITANOS® R900 industrial grade rutile titanium dioxide, a high-performance white pigment widely used in production processes that require maximum opacity, high whiteness, excellent dispersion and weathering stability. This TiO₂ comes as an easy-to-incorporate fine powder, designed to blend homogeneously into waterborne and solventborne formulations without affecting the system's rheology or causing interference during processing. Thanks to its organic and inorganic surface treatment and its rutile crystal structure, R900 titanium dioxide delivers high hiding power, excellent color retention, UV resistance and thermal stability, characteristics that make it possible to develop more durable products with better yield per ton produced. Its chemically inert behavior and compatibility with a wide range of resins, polymers and matrices make it a key raw material for manufacturers of paints and coatings, plastics, PVC, masterbatch,…
