As direct manufacturers with our own R&D laboratory and more than 30 years of experience in specialty chemicals, we guarantee b…

Silad® Aqua Plus — Low-Viscosity Silicone Antifoam Emulsion for Industrial Applications   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Silad® Aqua Plus, a low-viscosity, general-purpose, highly cost-effective silicone (polydimethylsiloxane, PDMS) antifoam emulsion designed to successfully suppress and prevent foam formation in a wide variety of industrial processes. Silad® Aqua Plus is a very stable, easy-to-handle antifoam that excels in applications with nonionic and anionic surfactants that demand excellent durability, delivering superior performance under neutral, mildly alkaline or acidic conditions. It is an active-rich emulsion (20% active ingredient content by weight) that, thanks to its relatively low viscosity, is very easy to dose and meter and integrates simply into aqueous systems. As a direct manufacturer with our own R&D laboratory and more than 30 years of experience in specialty chemicals, we guarantee lot-to-lot consistency, with availability from our plant in Monterrey, Nuevo…

Silad® Phos Description — Concentrated Organic-Based (Silicone-Free) Antifoam for Industrial Applications   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Silad® Phos, a concentrated organic-based, silicone-free antifoam developed in our own R&D laboratory and produced under a certified SQF (Safe Quality Food) quality management system at our plant in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Silad® Phos is a slightly yellow liquid with a high active content (minimum 100% active solids), easy to handle and high-yielding, formulated to eliminate existing foam (defoaming action) and prevent its formation (antifoam action) in a wide variety of aqueous and non-aqueous industrial processes, without compromising the quality of the final product or the performance of the treated system.   Unlike conventional silicone-derived antifoams, Silad® Phos takes advantage of the compatibility of its organic formulation to integrate more easily into systems where silicone residues could be problematic: coatings and paints where sil…

Silad® Aqua Description — Foam Control Agent for Industrial Applications in Aqueous Systems At Quimiconsult we offer Silad® Aqua, an industrial antifoam formulated as a low-viscosity, water-based silicone emulsion, designed for effective foam control in a wide variety of industrial processes that use water-based systems: agrochemical formulations, industrial cleaning solutions, chemical manufacturing processes, the pulp and paper industry, textile processing, water-based paint and coating formulations, industrial water treatment, cutting fluids and metalworking processes, where foam formation reduces efficiency, tank capacity and operational quality. It is a homogeneous, stable, easy-to-handle and cost-effective foam control agent that excels in applications with nonionic and anionic surfactants, delivering superior performance under neutral, slightly alkaline or acidic pH conditions and effectively withstanding a wide range of process pH. It comes as a homogeneous creamy white emulsi…

Silad® Oil Description — Concentrated Silicone-Based Defoamer for Non-Aqueous Systems   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Silad® Oil, the highest-concentration silicone-based defoamer in the Silad line: an industrial concentrate with a minimum of 90% active ingredient (PDMS / dimethicone / dimethylpolysiloxane, CAS 63148-62-9), formulated to successfully suppress or prevent foam formation in a wide range of applications, with a special focus on non-aqueous systems and on processes that require durability under alkaline conditions. Extremely stable and easy to handle, with a self-dispersing formulation, Silad® Oil excels in applications that require excellent durability in alkaline systems, with superior performance under neutral or acidic conditions as well. It delivers nearly pure PDMS in liquid form, suitable for direct dosing or for dilution in the medium of the system being treated, making it ideal for processes where conventional aqueous emulsion defoamers cannot be used or lose eff…

Product description: Silad Powder FG powdered antifoam At Quimiconsult we manufacture Silad Powder FG, a food-grade silicone-based powdered antifoam, formulated as a homogeneous, free-flowing, water-dispersible white powder. Silad Powder FG is designed to eliminate and prevent foam formation in dry applications, offering performance comparable to liquid antifoams even at low concentrations. Its powder format makes it ideal for food processes and formulations handled dry, where a liquid antifoam would be awkward to incorporate or would affect the product's consistency. It is long-lasting, stable over a wide temperature range and works in both anionic and nonionic systems. As direct manufacturers operating under a certified SQF (Safe Quality Food) quality management system, we guarantee batch-to-batch consistency, with availability from our plant in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and shipping throughout Mexico. Foam is a critical operational problem in the powdered food industry and in fermenta…

Alkaplus Base Description — Concentrated Raw Material for Manufacturing Foaming Alkaline Detergents and Degreasers in Mexico   At Quimiconsult we offer Alkaplus Base, a concentrated base for formulating a self-foaming alkaline detergent with many uses, designed so that cleaning-product manufacturers, formulators and plants with their own production can prepare a high-foam alkaline degreasing detergent that removes fatty and proteinaceous residues in the livestock and food industries, as well as on cages and livestock transport equipment. Alkaplus Base is the surfactant and functional part of the formula: it is combined with sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) and water to obtain a finished foaming alkaline detergent, ready to be diluted and applied in the field.   Alkaplus Base is an amber liquid with a characteristic odor, with a density of 1.00 to 1.10 g/cc, a pH of 9.0 to 11.0 in a 1.0% solution and a high foam level. It incorporates corrosion-inhibiting components to protect all types…
