Product Description: Ultra-Concentrated 7% Iodophor for the Most Demanding Disinfection At Quimiconsult we offer Iodactive 7%, the highest-concentration iodophor in our line, formulated as an ultra-concentrated biocide with a minimum of 70,000 ppm of active iodine. This is the benchmark solution for operations that require maximum disinfecting power per liter of product: large livestock complexes, poultry integrators, food plants with multiple production lines, regional distributors and specialized veterinary applications such as navel dipping in newborn calves. With 70,000 ppm of active iodine, Iodactive 7% offers more than 5 times the concentration of Iodactive 1.3% and more than double that of Iodactive 3%. This translates into extraordinary yield: a single liter of Iodactive 7% makes 2,800 liters of disinfectant solution at 25 ppm for surface sanitizing, or 175 liters at 400 ppm for footbaths. For operations with high daily consumption of disinfectant solution, this volumetric eff…

Iodine Teat Sealant for the Prevention of Bovine Mastitis at Dry-Off and Postpartum Iodactive S100 is an iodine-based intramammary teat sealant developed by Quimiconsult to help protect cows during the dry period and the immediate postpartum period, the two windows of highest risk for intramammary infection. Its formulation is designed to act as a physical barrier in the teat canal, combining the occlusive effect of the sealant with the antiseptic action of iodine, with the aim of hindering the entry of pathogens associated with clinical and subclinical mastitis. Unlike simple intramammary sealants, which work solely through mechanical occlusion, Iodactive S100 incorporates an iodine component within the sealant matrix, offering dual protection that is especially useful in herds with high environmental infection pressure or a history of new infections during the dry period. How Iodactive S100 Works: Physical Barrier and Iodine Action The protective mechanism of Iodactive S100 operates…

Description of the 3% iodine disinfectant solution At Quimiconsult we offer Iodactive 3%, a high-concentration stabilized iodophor formulated for professional disinfection applications in the food, livestock, poultry and agro-industrial sectors. With a minimum of 3 % active iodine, this product doubles the concentration of our Iodactive 1.75 %, making it possible to prepare larger volumes of disinfectant solution from less concentrate and optimizing operating costs in facilities with high sanitizer consumption. Iodactive 3 % iodine solution is a strong oxidizer that acts instantly on contact against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, molds, yeasts and even some types of protozoa. Its robust formulation increases solubility and stability in aqueous solutions, which means its efficiency is not reduced by very hard water or extreme temperature variations, conditions that are common in food processing plants, slaughterhouses and farms. Unlike free iodine, which tends to volatilize …

CLK Premium Description — Chlorinated Alkaline Detergent for CIP Cleaning in the Food Industry   At Quimiconsult we manufacture CLK Premium, a high-performance chlorinated alkaline detergent formulated especially for CIP (Clean in Place) cleaning by closed-loop recirculation, spraying or immersion, aimed at removing fat and protein from process surfaces in the food, dairy and beverage industries. CLK Premium combines a powerful alkaline base (minimum alkalinity of 20%) with available chlorine (2.0 to 3.0%) and a system of additives, wetting agents and dispersants that enhance its performance, achieving deep cleaning of the organic soil film —saturated fat, oils, denatured protein, surface milkstone and biofilm— and leaving equipment hygienic and ready for the sanitization stage.   CLK Premium is designed as the alkaline detergent of the CIP cycle: its controlled foam profile and wetting-dispersing system make it suitable for recirculation in the closed circuits of pasteurizers, silos,…

Product description: Lactac, our in-house acid descaling detergent At Quimiconsult we manufacture Lactac, a high-performance concentrated acid detergent formulated with phosphoric acid for the removal of mineral scale, limescale, fats and proteins in pasteurizers, milk coolers, conveying pipes, heat exchangers, evaporators, process and storage tanks, as well as polyethylene and stainless steel equipment in the food industry. Lactac is especially recommended for the dairy, meat and processed meats industries —production equipment, crates, molds and facility surfaces— where the buildup of milk stone, calcium and magnesium salts, and mineral residues compromises both hygiene and the thermal efficiency of the equipment. As direct manufacturers from our plant in Monterrey, Nuevo León, we control every stage of formulation and production under a certified SQF (Safe Quality Food) quality management system; in addition, Lactac is certified by NSF International and holds current Kosher certifi…

Lactac LF Description — Acid CIP Detergent for Removing Scale and Organic Matter   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Lactac LF —also known simply as Lactac in its low-foam version—, a concentrated low-foam acid detergent formulated specifically for CIP (Clean in Place) systems in the food industry. With an acidity of 25.0 to 30.0%, Lactac LF combines the dissolving action of acid on mineral scale with low-foam surfactants that remove organic matter by denaturation-precipitation, keep it in suspension to prevent redeposition, and leave the surface completely clean with a protective layer that temporarily prevents oxidation. It is recommended for removing scale in pasteurizers, coolers, transfer lines, process and storage tanks, and polyethylene and stainless steel equipment, as well as in the meat industry (production equipment, crates and facility surfaces).   Its low-foam profile is a non-negotiable requirement for CIP systems: excess foam in recirculation circuits interferes with the h…

Optifoam description — Self-Foaming Neutral Degreasing Detergent   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Optifoam, a highly versatile concentrated self-foaming neutral detergent formulated to remove organic matter —fats, proteins and process residues— from production equipment, work tables, utensils, molds, facility surfaces and process and storage tanks in the meat, beverage, brewing and dairy industries and, in general, any food processing industry. Optifoam effectively removes organic matter without requiring chlorine and, because it is a mild product, it can be applied by hand without protective equipment, which simplifies handling and training for cleaning staff.   Optifoam is a neutral liquid detergent with a pH of 7.0 to 9.0 (in a 5% solution), placing it in the category of neutral pH detergents: unlike strong alkalis or acids, a neutral detergent is less aggressive on surfaces, coatings, rubber and sealing materials, and is even suitable on sensitive metals such as aluminum and zinc …
