Dispersants for Agrochemicals

Sodium Naphthalene Sulfonate (SNF) Description – Industrial Dispersant and Water Reducer At Quimiconsult we offer Sodium Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde (SNF or SNF-A), a high-performance anionic dispersant and industrial-grade water reducer, supplied as a light brown powder with a minimum active content of 91 %. This product is designed to improve the dispersion, flowability and stability of systems containing fine solids and is widely used in construction, agrochemicals, ceramics, coatings, gypsum, cement, mineral slurries and other industrial applications.   SNF works by reducing the tension between solid particles and the liquid medium, which lowers the amount of water required, improves mix homogeneity and optimizes the performance of the final system. Thanks to its sulfonated polymer structure, it makes it easier to formulate more stable, workable and consistent mixes, without adversely affecting the mechanical or functional properties of the finished product. This sodium sul…

Product description – technical grade sodium gluconate At Quimiconsult we offer industrial grade sodium gluconate in Mexico, a high-purity (≥ 98 %) white crystalline powder with excellent water solubility, designed for processes that require an efficient chelating agent, formulation stabilizer and set retarder in cementitious systems. Its non-corrosive, non-toxic and biodegradable nature makes it a functional alternative to other metal sequestrants used in industrial applications. Thanks to its ability to form stable complexes with metal ions such as calcium, iron and aluminum, sodium gluconate improves the chemical stability of alkaline solutions, prevents scaling, optimizes concrete workability and allows homogeneous dispersion of components in liquid and solid formulations. This positions it as a multifunctional additive in the construction, industrial cleaning, water treatment, electroplating and chemical formulation industries. Industrial grade sodium gluconate is available in Mo…

Plurasurf Description — Anionic Dispersant for Mineral Dispersion and Suspension in Fertilizers and Fertigation   At Quimiconsult we offer Plurasurf, a highly effective anionic dispersant for mineral dispersion and suspension, with excellent performance in suspending calcium and magnesium, among other minerals applied through fertigation. Plurasurf is an amber liquid with 100% active ingredient, functional in aqueous systems and versatile across a wide pH range.   In fertigation, the minerals applied with the irrigation water tend to precipitate, settle in mixing tanks and clog filters, pipes and drippers. Plurasurf keeps these minerals dispersed and in suspension, so they reach the crop evenly and the irrigation system stays clean. That is why it is used as an anionic mineral dispersant, fertilizer additive, suspension aid and soil nutrient.   For anyone looking for a fertilizer dispersant, a calcium and magnesium suspension aid, a fertigation dispersant or an additive for liquid fer…

Celerad LC Description — High-Effectiveness Nonionic Superwetting Compound for Agrochemical Formulations and Spray Mixes   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Celerad LC, a high-effectiveness nonionic superwetting compound, formulated directly in our plant to reduce surface tension in aqueous and non-aqueous solutions. Celerad LC improves the wetting and dispersion of spray mixes and agrochemical formulations, enhancing coverage, uptake and use of the active ingredient in water-based herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. It is a clear liquid with a density of 0.90 – 1.10 g/cc and a pH of 6.0 – 7.0, and it is recommended at concentrations of 0.5 to 1.0%. As direct manufacturers with our own R&D laboratory and more than 30 years of experience in specialty chemicals, we guarantee batch-to-batch consistency, with availability from our plant in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and shipping throughout Mexico.   Celerad LC is the most cost-effective option among Quimiconsult's nonionic superwetters:…

Celerad Description — 100% Trisiloxane-Based Super-Wetting Adjuvant (Nonionic) for Maximum Agricultural Efficiency   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Celerad, a 100% concentrated, nonionic, trisiloxane-based super-wetting adjuvant designed to maximize the efficiency of agricultural applications and agrochemical formulation. Celerad is a very high-performance super spreader thanks to its trisiloxane technology: it drastically reduces the surface tension of aqueous and non-aqueous solutions, spreads and wets very effectively on hydrophobic surfaces — waxy or hairy — that would otherwise repel the spray solution, and promotes homogeneous dispersion of the actives in the tank, improving coverage, absorption and utilization of pesticides and foliar fertilizers. It comes as a clear, slightly yellow liquid, with no diluents or inert fillers that would reduce its active strength. As a direct manufacturer with our own R&D laboratory and more than 30 years of experience in specialty chemicals…

Applications: cosmetic formulations, cleaning products, agrochemicals, and industrial solutions requiring uniform dispersion and efficient wetting. Properties: pH 5.5–8.0 (1% solution), specific gravity 1.00–1.50, shelf life of one year. Also known as: nonionic surfactant blend, wetti…

Surfad Seal, industrial grade. Homogeneous liquid with a stable, fluid appearance. Concentrated product (min. 80% active ingredient), formulated as a blend of surfactants with high thermal stability and low surface tension. Optimizes the appearance of iodine- and povidone-iodine–based solutions by preventing precipitate formation, improving their compatibility and effectiveness. Promotes uniform film formation and enhances the performance of teat dip sealants in veterinary and industrial applications. Properties: pH 6.5–7.4 (1% solution), liquid appearance at 25 °C, shelf life of one year. Also known as: nonionic surfactant ble…

Product description: Alkyl Polyglucoside 70%, a biodegradable nonionic surfactant from renewable sources At Quimiconsult we offer Alkyl Polyglucoside 70% (APG), a high-performance nonionic surfactant derived from 100% renewable raw materials: plant-based fatty alcohols (coconut or palm) and glucose obtained from corn or potato starch. This combination of natural sources makes it one of the most sustainable surfactants available to industry, without compromising the technical efficiency demanded by professional cleaning, personal care, agrochemical and water treatment formulations. What exactly is an alkyl polyglucoside? It is a compound made up of an alkyl chain (the hydrophobic part, derived from the fatty alcohol) bonded to one or more glucose units (the hydrophilic part, derived from sugar). This molecular structure is what gives it its nonionic surfactant character: unlike anionic surfactants such as sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or sodium alkyl sulfate, APG carries no electrical ch…
