Disinfection & Sanitization for Industrial Cleaning

DXL 100 Description — High-Performance Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide Disinfectant for Surfaces and Equipment in the Food Industry   At Quimiconsult we manufacture DXL 100, a high-performance disinfectant, an alternative to conventional chlorine dioxide, for surfaces, equipment and facilities in the food industry in Mexico. DXL 100 is a stabilized chlorine dioxide solution with 10% active chlorine (active content of 9.75 to 10.25%), a broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide with wetting and penetrating action, formulated for post-cleaning disinfection in dairy plants, packing plants, fruit and vegetable processors and bottling plants.   DXL 100 is supplied as a slightly amber liquid, ready to be pre-diluted in water without releasing vapors, which makes it a practical way to bring the oxidizing action of chlorine dioxide into the plant without relying on on-site generation equipment. Its low-foam profile makes it ideal for flooding and circulation in equipment, tanks and lines, and its …

Clorsan DS Description — Stabilized Sodium Hypochlorite (Longer-Lasting Liquid Chlorine)   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Clorsan DS, a stabilized sodium hypochlorite solution formulated to keep its available chlorine for much longer than conventional sodium hypochlorite. Clorsan DS meets all the characteristics of standard sodium hypochlorite —also known as chlorine, liquid chlorine, bleach or lye in Mexico—, with the same disinfecting, bleaching and deodorizing power, but with one decisive difference: a stabilizing system that slows the natural loss of chlorine over time, so the product reaches the point of use at the concentration you need.   Sodium hypochlorite is an extraordinarily useful product, but it has a well-known weakness: it loses available chlorine with time, heat, light and trace metals, which reduces its effectiveness and forces users to overdose or buy more often. Clorsan DS solves exactly that problem. In a 30-day comparative study carried out by Quimiconsult, start…

Sodium Hypochlorite 14% Description — Industrial Liquid Chlorine (Bleach / Lye)   At Quimiconsult we distribute 14% Sodium Hypochlorite, a high-concentration industrial-grade liquid chlorine for water disinfection, sanitation of surfaces and facilities, wastewater treatment and bleaching. Also known as chlorine, liquid chlorine, bleach or lye, sodium hypochlorite is one of the most versatile and economical disinfectants and oxidizers in industry. It is offered at a nominal concentration of 14% as a reference; keep in mind that, by its nature, sodium hypochlorite is an unstable product: its available chlorine decreases naturally with time, heat and light, so the concentration is a starting value and dosing should be based on measured available chlorine, not on a fixed percentage guaranteed at the point of use.   The Sodium Hypochlorite offered by Quimiconsult is a light greenish-yellow, alkaline (pH 11 – 13) sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) solution with broad-spectrum disinfecting, bleachi…

Optisan 100 Description — Fast-Acting, Broad-Spectrum 1% PHMB Biocide for Surface Disinfection   At Quimiconsult we offer Optisan 100, a fast-acting, broad-spectrum biocide formulated with 1% PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide) in an alcohol-based solution, developed for surface disinfection in the food and beverage industry, hospitals, veterinary establishments and livestock facilities. Optisan 100 is active against bacteria, yeasts and amoebae —including Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Legionella pneumophila— and, thanks to its specific mode of action, microorganisms do not develop resistance to it.   What sets it apart from other disinfectants is its high wetting power: Optisan 100 lowers surface tension and increases the contact area, carrying its biocidal action into the microcracks of equipment, tables and conveyors, where the microorganisms that survive conventional cleaning take refuge. Its alcohol …
