Potassium iodide USP, pharmaceutical grade. White crystalline powder, high purity (99.0–99.9%) and highly soluble in water and alcohol. Stable inorganic compound that serves as a source of iodine, an essential nutrient, with excellent chemical stability against oxidation and reduction, even at high temperatures. Applications: additive in pharmaceutical products, food, animal feed, industrial processes, formulation of biocides, and surface disinfectants.
