IODINE PEARLS USP GRADE ANTIMICROBIAL & INTERMEDIATE

USP iodine pearls, high-purity biocide. Solid pearls of elemental iodine with a minimum purity of 99.5%, used as a raw material in the formulation of iodophor products, antiseptic and industrial disinfectants, as well as a chemical intermediate. Highly effective due to its high content of active iodine, non-volatile, and with low impurity levels: max. chlorine/bromine 50 ppm, max. iron 10 ppm, sulfates up to 75 ppm, and heavy metals under 10 ppm. Properties: solid pearl appearance, stable at room temperature (25 °C), max. non-volatile residue 0.01%. Applications: formulation of sanitizing solutions, antiseptics, laboratory use, and in pharmaceutical, food, and veterinary industries. Other names: elemental iodine, resublimed iodine.
