PVP K90 USP/NF 26 GRADE FILM-FORMING POLYMER

PVP K90 USP/NF 26 film-forming grade. White crystal with an active content of 81.0–98.0% (K Value). Amorphous, hygroscopic, linear, and non-ionic polymer, soluble in water and organic solvents. Forms transparent, hard, and glossy films, acting as a film former, and stabilizer for emulsions, dispersions, and suspensions. Applications: adhesives, ceramics, glass and fiberglass, coatings, textiles, pulp and paper, polymerization processes, and water treatment. Properties: pH (5% solution) 3.0–7.0, maximum moisture 5.0%, maximum ignition residue 0.10%, nitrogen content between 11.50%–12.80%, maximum free vinylpyrrolidone 0.20%, and maximum aldehyde limit 0.05%.
