Biocides for Industrial Cleaning

Glutaraldehyde 50% Description — High-Efficacy Industrial Biocide in Acidic and Alkaline Media At Quimiconsult we offer Glutaraldehyde 50%, a colorless to slightly yellowish liquid with a strong, pungent odor, completely soluble in water and recognized worldwide as one of the most effective broad-spectrum biocides available to industry. It is a short-chain dialdehyde — chemically identified as pentanedial — whose biocidal activity derives from its unique ability to react with amines and amino acids in the cell walls and structural proteins of microorganisms, causing their irreversible inactivation through protein denaturation and nucleic acid cross-linking. Unlike many conventional disinfectants, glutaraldehyde retains its biocidal activity in both acidic and alkaline media, making it effective across a wide variety of process conditions and industrial matrices. Its spectrum of action includes gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, viruses, fungi, bacterial spores and mycobacteria,…

Product description, Anticel® Food peracetic acid disinfectant for the meat and poultry industry At Quimiconsult we produce Anticel® Food, a specialized 15% peracetic acid formulation designed specifically for disinfection applications in direct contact with food, with a particular focus on the meat and poultry industry. Unlike conventional peracetic acids, Anticel® Food incorporates acidity self-regulation technology in aqueous media that solves one of the most common and costly problems faced by meat and poultry processing plants: the over-coloring and discoloration of carcasses in areas with bruises and hematomas caused by the action of standard peracetic acid. Anticel® Food is a broad-spectrum biocide with excellent performance against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, fungi, yeasts, viruses and resistant structures such as endospores and mold spores. Its action is instantaneous on contact with the protective cell structures of microorganisms, including the cell wall and c…

Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 50%: A High-Purity Oxidizing Agent for Industrial and Food Safety Processes At Quimiconsult we offer food grade hydrogen peroxide 50%, a high-purity oxidizer designed for applications that require effective microbiological control, uniform bleaching power and reliable chemical performance in regulated industrial processes. It is a clear, colorless, slightly viscous liquid, fully miscible in water and formulated under strict purity controls that allow its safe use in operations linked to the food industry, water treatment, chemical synthesis and professional sanitation. One of the most important characteristics of hydrogen peroxide is its ability to break down into water and oxygen without generating toxic by-products or persistent residues, which makes it a highly valued alternative in cleaning and food safety systems that seek microbiological efficiency with an environmentally compatible profile. This property makes it a key agent in processes where conta…

Dioxel® 5% Description — High-Performance Odorless Chlorinated Biocide   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Dioxel® 5%, a high-performance chlorinated biocide — a broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide — formulated for disinfection in the food industry and water treatment, with one distinguishing feature: it is odorless at proper use doses. Dioxel® 5% is a slightly amber, low-foam liquid, highly soluble in water and stable, with a minimum active content of 5% (available chlorine). Its formula is wetting and penetrating, so it ensures disinfection even on microporous surfaces, crevices and joints where microorganisms and biofilms hide beyond the reach of a simple rinse.   What sets Dioxel® 5% apart from conventional chlorine is precisely its odorless profile at the use dose: traditional hypochlorite leaves the characteristic chlorine smell that can transfer to food or bother staff, while Dioxel® 5% completes its bactericidal action without leaving any residual odor or taste when the dose…

DXL 100 Description — High-Performance Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide Disinfectant for Surfaces and Equipment in the Food Industry   At Quimiconsult we manufacture DXL 100, a high-performance disinfectant, an alternative to conventional chlorine dioxide, for surfaces, equipment and facilities in the food industry in Mexico. DXL 100 is a stabilized chlorine dioxide solution with 10% active chlorine (active content of 9.75 to 10.25%), a broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide with wetting and penetrating action, formulated for post-cleaning disinfection in dairy plants, packing plants, fruit and vegetable processors and bottling plants.   DXL 100 is supplied as a slightly amber liquid, ready to be pre-diluted in water without releasing vapors, which makes it a practical way to bring the oxidizing action of chlorine dioxide into the plant without relying on on-site generation equipment. Its low-foam profile makes it ideal for flooding and circulation in equipment, tanks and lines, and its …
