Udderzyme Activator is an orange liquid with a characteristic odor, designed to combine with Udderzyme Base to release chlorine dioxide, generating a powerful disinfectant action within 4–6 seconds. It has a pH between 3.0 and 4.0 (1% solution) and a density of 0.96 g/cm³. In addition to enhancing the biocidal action of the system, its emollients help maintain skin in good condition, preventing irritation or mechanical damage. Both components must be mixed in a 1:1 ratio and allowed to rest for one hour before being applied as a barrier sealant before and after milking.
