Neutra Foam description — Self-Foaming Neutral Degreasing Detergent   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Neutra Foam, a highly versatile concentrated self-foaming neutral detergent formulated to remove organic matter —fats, proteins and process residues— from production equipment, work tables, utensils, molds, facility surfaces and process and storage tanks in the meat, beverage, brewing and dairy industries and, in general, any food processing industry. Neutra Foam effectively removes organic matter without requiring chlorine and, because it is a mild product, it can be applied by hand without protective equipment, which simplifies handling and training for cleaning staff.   Neutra Foam is a neutral liquid detergent with a pH of 7.0 to 9.0 (in a 5% solution), placing it in the category of neutral pH detergents: unlike strong alkalis or acids, a neutral detergent is less aggressive on surfaces, coatings, rubber and sealing materials, and is even suitable on sensitive metals such as alumin…

DXL 100 Description — High-Performance Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide Disinfectant for Surfaces and Equipment in the Food Industry   At Quimiconsult we manufacture DXL 100, a high-performance disinfectant, an alternative to conventional chlorine dioxide, for surfaces, equipment and facilities in the food industry in Mexico. DXL 100 is a stabilized chlorine dioxide solution with 10% active chlorine (active content of 9.75 to 10.25%), a broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide with wetting and penetrating action, formulated for post-cleaning disinfection in dairy plants, packing plants, fruit and vegetable processors and bottling plants.   DXL 100 is supplied as a slightly amber liquid, ready to be pre-diluted in water without releasing vapors, which makes it a practical way to bring the oxidizing action of chlorine dioxide into the plant without relying on on-site generation equipment. Its low-foam profile makes it ideal for flooding and circulation in equipment, tanks and lines, and its …

Alkaplus Base Description — Concentrated Raw Material for Manufacturing Foaming Alkaline Detergents and Degreasers in Mexico   At Quimiconsult we offer Alkaplus Base, a concentrated base for formulating a self-foaming alkaline detergent with many uses, designed so that cleaning-product manufacturers, formulators and plants with their own production can prepare a high-foam alkaline degreasing detergent that removes fatty and proteinaceous residues in the livestock and food industries, as well as on cages and livestock transport equipment. Alkaplus Base is the surfactant and functional part of the formula: it is combined with sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) and water to obtain a finished foaming alkaline detergent, ready to be diluted and applied in the field.   Alkaplus Base is an amber liquid with a characteristic odor, with a density of 1.00 to 1.10 g/cc, a pH of 9.0 to 11.0 in a 1.0% solution and a high foam level. It incorporates corrosion-inhibiting components to protect all types…

Description of NMP N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone 99.8% — Industrial-Grade Polar Aprotic Solvent in Mexico   At Quimiconsult we distribute NMP N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone 99.8%, also known as 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone or N-methylpyrrolidone (CAS 872-50-4), an industrial-grade polar aprotic solvent with a minimum purity of 99.8%, colorless, with a high boiling point, low volatility and low viscosity. It is miscible with water in all proportions and offers high chemical and thermal stability, which makes it one of the reference solvents for dissolving engineering polymers and resins in coatings, varnishes, wire enamels and adhesives, as well as for paint stripping, industrial cleaning and as a solvent for agrochemicals and pigments in Mexican industry.   NMP belongs to the lactam family: it is a five-membered cyclic amide with a methyl group on the nitrogen. That structure gives it a highly polar molecule, but with no acidic hydrogens available to donate hydrogen bonds; that is why it is classed as a p…

TEA 85% Triethanolamine — Industrial-Grade Neutralizer and Emulsifier in Mexico   At Quimiconsult we distribute TEA 85% Triethanolamine, also known as Triethanolamine 85%, industrial-grade TEA or 2,2′,2″-nitrilotriethanol (CAS 102-71-6), an industrial organic amine that works as a neutralizer and emulsifier in the formulation of household and industrial cleaners and other chemical products. Its main application is the neutralization of dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DDBSA, also called sulfonic acid or LABSA), at a typical dosage of 0.4 to 0.5 kg of TEA 85% per kg of DDBSA, turning the acid into a water-soluble surfactant salt. Triethanolamine 85% also forms emulsifying soaps with fatty acids and is used to adjust the pH of formulations.   TEA 85% is a clear, viscous liquid, colorless to slightly yellowish, with a slight ammoniacal odor. It is produced from ammonia and ethylene oxide, is soluble in water and has a density of 1.12 to 1.13 g/mL at 20 °C. Its total triethanolamine content i…
