Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 50%: A High-Purity Oxidizing Agent for Industrial and Food Safety Processes At Quimiconsult we offer food grade hydrogen peroxide 50%, a high-purity oxidizer designed for applications that require effective microbiological control, uniform bleaching power and reliable chemical performance in regulated industrial processes. It is a clear, colorless, slightly viscous liquid, fully miscible in water and formulated under strict purity controls that allow its safe use in operations linked to the food industry, water treatment, chemical synthesis and professional sanitation. One of the most important characteristics of hydrogen peroxide is its ability to break down into water and oxygen without generating toxic by-products or persistent residues, which makes it a highly valued alternative in cleaning and food safety systems that seek microbiological efficiency with an environmentally compatible profile. This property makes it a key agent in processes where conta…

DXL 100 Description — High-Performance Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide Disinfectant for Surfaces and Equipment in the Food Industry   At Quimiconsult we manufacture DXL 100, a high-performance disinfectant, an alternative to conventional chlorine dioxide, for surfaces, equipment and facilities in the food industry in Mexico. DXL 100 is a stabilized chlorine dioxide solution with 10% active chlorine (active content of 9.75 to 10.25%), a broad-spectrum bactericide and fungicide with wetting and penetrating action, formulated for post-cleaning disinfection in dairy plants, packing plants, fruit and vegetable processors and bottling plants.   DXL 100 is supplied as a slightly amber liquid, ready to be pre-diluted in water without releasing vapors, which makes it a practical way to bring the oxidizing action of chlorine dioxide into the plant without relying on on-site generation equipment. Its low-foam profile makes it ideal for flooding and circulation in equipment, tanks and lines, and its …

Alkaplus Base Description — Concentrated Raw Material for Manufacturing Foaming Alkaline Detergents and Degreasers in Mexico   At Quimiconsult we offer Alkaplus Base, a concentrated base for formulating a self-foaming alkaline detergent with many uses, designed so that cleaning-product manufacturers, formulators and plants with their own production can prepare a high-foam alkaline degreasing detergent that removes fatty and proteinaceous residues in the livestock and food industries, as well as on cages and livestock transport equipment. Alkaplus Base is the surfactant and functional part of the formula: it is combined with sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) and water to obtain a finished foaming alkaline detergent, ready to be diluted and applied in the field.   Alkaplus Base is an amber liquid with a characteristic odor, with a density of 1.00 to 1.10 g/cc, a pH of 9.0 to 11.0 in a 1.0% solution and a high foam level. It incorporates corrosion-inhibiting components to protect all types…

Alkaflow Description — Chlorine-Free, Non-Foaming Alkaline Detergent for CIP Cleaning in the Food Industry   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Alkaflow, a concentrated liquid alkaline detergent, chlorine-free and non-foaming, formulated especially for CIP (Clean in Place) cleaning by closed-loop recirculation, spraying or immersion, aimed at removing fat and protein from process surfaces in the food and dairy industries in Mexico. Alkaflow is a sodium hydroxide-based alkaline agent (alkalinity of 35.0 to 35.5%) complemented by a series of additives, wetting agents and dispersants that improve its effectiveness — a high-performance, easy-rinsing product.   Alkaflow is designed as the chlorine-free alkaline detergent of the CIP cycle: because it does not generate foam, it can be recirculated through the closed circuits of silos, pasteurization and cooling systems, tanks and conveying pipelines without affecting the pumps or the efficiency of the cycle, something foaming detergents do not a…

Description of NMP N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone 99.8% — Industrial-Grade Polar Aprotic Solvent in Mexico   At Quimiconsult we distribute NMP N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone 99.8%, also known as 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone or N-methylpyrrolidone (CAS 872-50-4), an industrial-grade polar aprotic solvent with a minimum purity of 99.8%, colorless, with a high boiling point, low volatility and low viscosity. It is miscible with water in all proportions and offers high chemical and thermal stability, which makes it one of the reference solvents for dissolving engineering polymers and resins in coatings, varnishes, wire enamels and adhesives, as well as for paint stripping, industrial cleaning and as a solvent for agrochemicals and pigments in Mexican industry.   NMP belongs to the lactam family: it is a five-membered cyclic amide with a methyl group on the nitrogen. That structure gives it a highly polar molecule, but with no acidic hydrogens available to donate hydrogen bonds; that is why it is classed as a p…

Lactac Foam Pro Description — Self-Foaming Acid Detergent for Surfaces and Facilities   At Quimiconsult we manufacture Lactac Foam Pro, a concentrated self-foaming (high-foam) acid detergent formulated to remove scale and organic matter from surfaces, equipment and facilities in the food industry. With an acidity of 25.0 to 30.0% and a pH below 2.0 (in a 1% solution), Lactac Foam Pro combines the dissolving action of acid on mineral deposits with surfactants that remove fats and proteins through denaturation-precipitation, keep them in suspension to prevent redeposition, and leave the surface clean with a protective layer that temporarily prevents oxidation. It is indicated for removing scale from pasteurizers, chillers, transfer piping, process and storage tanks, and polyethylene and stainless steel equipment, and it is especially recommended in the sausage and processed meat industry for production equipment, crates and facility surfaces.   What sets Lactac Foam Pro apart is its hig…

Optisan 100 Description — Fast-Acting, Broad-Spectrum 1% PHMB Biocide for Surface Disinfection   At Quimiconsult we offer Optisan 100, a fast-acting, broad-spectrum biocide formulated with 1% PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide) in an alcohol-based solution, developed for surface disinfection in the food and beverage industry, hospitals, veterinary establishments and livestock facilities. Optisan 100 is active against bacteria, yeasts and amoebae —including Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Legionella pneumophila— and, thanks to its specific mode of action, microorganisms do not develop resistance to it.   What sets it apart from other disinfectants is its high wetting power: Optisan 100 lowers surface tension and increases the contact area, carrying its biocidal action into the microcracks of equipment, tables and conveyors, where the microorganisms that survive conventional cleaning take refuge. Its alcohol …

Alkaplus Foam Pro Description — Self-Foaming Alkaline Degreaser for Removing Animal Fat, Vegetable Fat and Blood   At Quimiconsult we offer Alkaplus Foam Pro, a mildly alkaline foaming degreaser that is safe on surfaces and equipment, designed to remove animal and vegetable fat. Alkaplus Foam Pro contains detergency boosters that make it highly effective at removing blood stains, organic matter and animal fat, and it rinses off easily, making it well suited to cleaning surfaces and equipment in food plants, slaughterhouses, meat packers and industrial kitchens.   Its foam lets it be applied to vertical surfaces and equipment, where it clings and extends contact time with the soil. With moderate alkalinity in solution, it degreases well while being gentler on surfaces and equipment than high-alkalinity degreasers, and it is biodegradable.   For anyone looking for a foaming alkaline degreaser, a detergent for animal fat, a cleaner that removes blood stains or a biodegradable degreaser f…
