Suprabit 200 20% biocide for water-based formulations (BIT 20), industrial grade. Slightly yellow liquid, 20% active in dipropylene glycol. Broad-spectrum biocidal preservative that protects against bacteria, fungi, and yeasts in water-based and solvent-based preparations. Offers excellent thermal stability, is non-volatile, formaldehyde-free, and effective over a wide pH range (10.0–13.0), with a viscosity of 200–400 mPas and a density of 1.130–1.18 g/cm³ at 25 °C. Soluble in water at recommended concentrations. Applications: polymer emulsions, water-based paints, adhesives, inks, paper and mineral slurries, coolants, cutting fluids, agrochemicals, and leather processing. Properties: thermally stable active, low toxicity, no microbial resistance development, easy dosing. Composition: 1,2-benzisothiazolinone at 20% in dipropylene glycol. CAS 2634-33-5.
