Polysorbate 60 nonionic emulsifier industrial grade, also known as sorbitan monolaurate ethoxylated 60. Slightly yellow liquid, 100% active. Nonionic surfactant based on ethoxylated sorbitan esters, soluble or dispersible in water, stable over a wide pH range (5.0–8.0). Acts as a wetting agent, dispersant, and lipophilic emulsifier, as well as a softener and solubilizer. Properties: hydroxyl number 81–96, max. acid value 2.2, max. free ethylene oxide content 10 ppm, characteristic odor, and paste presentation at 25 °C. CAS 9005-67-8. Store in original tightly closed container, in a cool, ventilated place, away from oxidizing agents. Applications: cosmetics, cleaning products, pharmaceutical formulations, among others.
