Polysorbate 20 nonionic emulsifier industrial grade, also known as sorbitan monolaurate ethoxylated 20, is a nonionic surfactant of industrial grade. Slightly yellow liquid, 100% active. Functions as a solubilizer, wetting agent, and dispersant in aqueous media, stable over a wide pH range (6.0–8.0). Provides compatibility in formulations with ionic agents and improves emulsion stability. Applications: cosmetics, cleaning products, pharmaceutical formulations, among others. CAS 9005-64-5. Properties: hydroxyl number 100, max. moisture 3.0%, max. Gardner color 3.0, pH (5% solution) between 6.0 and 6.5.
