PEG 300, industrial grade. Translucent liquid, 100% active. Exhibits excellent water solubility, hygroscopic properties, viscosity control capability, and functions as an emulsifying agent. Stable in finished products, improves lubricity and extends the shelf life of formulations. Applications: used as a lubricant in molds, textile fibers, cosmetics, and ceramics. Properties: average molecular weight 285–315, hydroxyl value 356–394 mg KOH/g, density 1.11–1.14 g/mL at 25 °C, pH 4.5–7.5 (5% solution), max. free ethylene oxide 10 ppm, max. ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol content 0.25%.
