PEG 200, industrial grade. Translucent liquid, 100% active. Excellent water compatibility and solubility, with hygroscopic properties, viscosity control, and emulsifying capability. Ideal as a lubricant in molds, textile fibers, cosmetics, and ceramics. Provides greater solvency, lubricity, and stability in formulations, as well as extended shelf life of the finished product. Properties: average molecular weight 190–210, hydroxyl value 535–590 mg KOH/g, pH 4.5–7.5 (5% solution), density 1.11–1.14 g/mL (25 °C), max. free ethylene oxide 10 ppm, max. ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol content 0.25%.
