Iodet 5%, high-solubility iodine-based disinfectant. Dark reddish liquid with a minimum of 5% active iodine (50,000 ppm). Highly soluble in water and very stable, does not stain equipment, and maintains its effectiveness even in hard water. Acts effectively against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, fungi, and yeasts. Properties: density 1.00–1.25 g/cm³, pH (1% sol.) 2.5–4.0. Applications: disinfection of water, surfaces, pipelines, transport equipment, silos, tanks, cooling systems, food plants, sanitizing mats, swine and poultry farms, milking and production areas. SAGARPA and Kosher certified. Usage recommendations: 100–400 ppm in livestock facilities and veterinary clinics; 75–100 ppm for hands and equipment; 25–75 ppm for vegetable processing equipment, adjusting according to residual microbial load.
