Iodactive 2%, concentrated iodophor. Dark reddish liquid with a minimum of 2% active iodine. Robust formula with excellent water solubility, stability in the presence of hard water, and instant action upon contact. Effectively acts against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, fungi, yeasts, and some protozoa. Applications: disinfection of surfaces in the food and dairy industry, CIP and COP systems, silos, pipelines, tanks, sanitizing mats, poultry production areas, and water in livestock facilities. Also used for fruit and vegetable disinfection by spraying or immersion (50–200 ppm). Properties: pH (1% solution) 2.5–4.0, medium foam, shelf life of 1 year. SAGARPA and Kosher certified.
