IODACTIVE 2.5% IODINE DISINFECTANT SOLUTION

Iodactive 2.5%, stabilized concentrated iodophor. Dark reddish liquid with a minimum of 2.5% active content. Excellent water solubility and high stability in aqueous solutions, does not stain equipment. Powerful oxidizer with immediate action upon contact, effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, fungi, yeasts, and even certain protozoa. Detergent properties that enhance its action on porous surfaces. Applications: disinfection of stainless steel surfaces, pipelines, tanks, CIP and COP systems in the food and dairy industry, animal production areas, sanitizing mats, and supply water in farms; also used for fruit and vegetable disinfection by spraying or immersion (50–200 ppm). Properties: pH 2.5–4.0 (1% solution), density 1.00–1.25 g/cm³, medium foam, shelf life of one year. SAGARPA certified. Available in Monterrey, with shipping throughout Mexico.
