Extracil is a slightly amber liquid preservative developed as a broad-spectrum biocide for foods, especially dairy products with high moisture content such as fresh cheese. It effectively inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi, and yeasts that cause spoilage and organoleptic changes, helping to extend product shelf life. Its formulation combines Methylparaben and Propylparaben (min. 3.0%) with surfactants that accelerate cellular penetration, achieving rapid action on resistant structures such as capsules and cell walls, and inhibiting protein synthesis. It is stable under temperature variations and effective across a wide pH range (2.5–3.5 in 10% solution), and is dispersible in water. Applications: dairy and meat industries, mainly in fresh foods such as cheeses. SQF certification and use of FDA-approved ingredients. Purified product to avoid off-flavors. It is recommended to dilute with cold water and use within 18 hours after preparation. Available in Monterrey, with shipping throughout Mexico.
