Benzalkonium chloride 80%, disinfection grade. Colorless or slightly yellow liquid, 80% active. Mainly used as a topical antiseptic or disinfectant for wound healing, hospital, and veterinary disinfection. Widely employed in the formulation of disinfectants for livestock use, to prevent and control diseases caused by pathogenic microorganisms. Applications: hospitals, clinics, livestock industries, and environments requiring microbiological control. Properties: pH (1% solution) 6.0–8.0, max. free amine 2.00%.
