BRONOPOL ANTIMICROBIAL PRESERVATIVE INDUSTRIAL GRADE

Bronopol, also known as 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol. Biocide in white crystal form with a minimum active content of 99%. It has excellent antimicrobial properties, making it ideal as a preservative and biocide in industrial applications, especially for controlling bacterial and fungal growth. Soluble in water up to 28% at 25 °C, with a pH in 10% solution ranging from 4.0 to 7.0, providing stability in acidic to slightly alkaline conditions. Applications: preservative in cosmetics, industrial paper slurries, and other aqueous systems, with pre-dilution in water or glycols recommended. Properties: heavy metals content max. 10 ppm.
